Aperol is what I’d describe as a more sophisticated flavor, due to its bitterness. It can be too strong on its own, but it adds a really nice dimension to cocktails like this one.
2 oz Silver Tequila (or any light tequila)
1 oz Aperol
1 oz Triple Sec
3 oz Campari
A big squeeze of any fresh citrus
1-2 dashes bitters
Cherry garnish
Sparkling water (you can use flavored seltzer as well)
Instructions:
Into a glass filled with ice, combine all ingredients and stir. Garnish with cherry and enjoy.
