Dr. Sue’s Chocolate just inked the deal on its first permanent storefront, in the heart of historic Grapevine.
“I’m so excited,” says Sue Williams, a real-life doc at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She’s been scouring the area for months, from Allen to the Bishop Arts District, to come up with a kitchen-and-store combo.
Besides being just plain good, her chocolates are known for using phytonutrient-rich, organic ingredients, where possible. The doc in her insists because she knows the health benefits, and the chocolatier in her just loves the great, intense flavors they impart. I am crazy for the salted toffee.
The chocolate will still be widely available at outlets throughout North Texas, but now you can go to the store anytime – and watch the goodies being made as well as shop.
